Whether it’s questioning the relationship you’ve been in for years (ouch), wanting to make a big career move (join the circus with me, anyone?), or feeling like you’re stuck, flailing, or bored with your current life set-up, one thing’s for sure:
The answers are already inside of you.
I know, I know, not the response you were hoping for.
Wouldn’t you rather I told you there was a 5-step formula to figuring it out and that I have this exact formula that you can purchase today!?
Me either.
My solution is much more fun and real.
It’s called dancing it out of you.
It’s the art of trusting yourself enough to let your body speak.
And that art will translate into clarity and authenticity in most other areas of your life, if you really cultivate it.
It’s all about clearing out the crap that’s in your way, so that you can connect to your truth and trust yourself enough to let movement - and answers - flow out of you.
But how do you do that?!
Enter: Dance Into Your Answers, the non-intimidating, non-exclusive, non-technical dance workshop for women who want to strengthen their intuition and take ownership of their truth and self-expression - on the dancefloor and in life.
Because if you can trust your body enough to express itself through movement, you can trust yourself enough to speak up and bring more of YOU to your career, relationships, and creative life.
It starts in your body.
It starts with your dance.
It starts when you say yes to your instincts.
Oh, hi! I’m Jess. Almost forgot to introduce myself. Though I was once a shy, obedient ballerina who followed dance steps like a technical machine, I now dance freely in public and performative contexts. From holding up a “DANCE WITH ME” sign in a busy airport lobby, to being stuck on stage with no music in front of an audience of 200 people, I’ve learned a thing or two about what it means to trust yourself through dance. And the more I do it, the more authentic, fulfilling, and exciting my life, career and relationships have gotten: I get to create my own work hours, travel, collaborate with amazing artists, and do work in the world that I find deeply fulfilling, that also makes a difference in people's lives.
Yes, that’s totally ok! I personally will argue that everyone is a dancer, but we don’t have to get into that here. All you need is a desire and willingness to dance and move your body. You don’t need “training” or previous dance experience. There won’t be any fancy flip moves to learn, and I certainly won’t make you do anything you’re not comfortable with. (That would be weird.)
Oh yes! Dancer-dancers welcomed, too. You might be worried this will be beneath your technical capabilities, and it probably will be. But this workshop isn’t about technique. There are plenty of other places you can go to get a good contemporary-jazz class in. This workshop is about helping you undo whatever you’ve learned that’s stopping you from fully trusting yourself and your truth - both on the dancefloor and in life.
Between you, me, and the internet, I’m in a fly-by-the-seat-of-my-pants mode with my business and classes. (That’s right, I’m trusting the process!) I tend to do things when I’m inspired to do them. So I don’t have another plan to do this again - but that’s not some technique to put you into scarcity mode so that you join now. It’s just the truth. Who knows, I might do it again, but I might not. If you’re feelin’ it now, then there’s no better time than now. Amiright?
